Beef and potatoes
Our signature stew. A rich stew with beef and potatoes in a tomato based sauce with a clear cinnamon character and a hint of chilli.

Kycklinggryta (halal)
Drum sticks in a tomato-based stew with cinnamon, cardamom and chilli, inspired by the Persian dish Zereshk Polo.

Herb stew
Based on the Persian dish Ghormeh Sabzi. Beef, kidney beans, a variety of herbs and a touch of acidity.

Okra med lamm (halal)
Based on the Kurdish dish Bamye. A rich stew with okra and lamb loin in a tomato based sauce with a deep flavor of garlic.

Nokaw (Vegan)
Kikärtsgryta med potatis, morötter och blomkål. Baserad på en kurdisk rätt med en indisk touch av curry och lime.

Fasolya (Vegan)
A classic dish from the Middle East. White beans and haricot verts in a tomato based stew with flavors of garlic and lime.

Kyckling Korv stroganoff
The Grabbarna's interpretation of the Swedish home classic with chicken sausage, crème fraiche, mushrooms and dill.

Chili con carne
Texmex-klassikern så som vi föredrar den, med högrev, svarta bönor, tomater, mycket kryddor och olika chilisorter som ger en tydlig hetta.

"An opportunity to offer good and nutritious food that can be stored and eaten hot during the week."
Seven years ago, I, Reibin, was thinking about what to do about the constant cooking that took up so much of my everyday time. Fast food or cold food wasn't really my thing. It was important that the food was tasty, warm and healthy, and that you could cook a lot of food at the same time for later consumption. My solution was therefore slow cooking in pots with rice!
Cooking different kinds of stews developed into a routine that made everyday life easier, and by extension into a passion where the stew meal became the highlight of my day. The stew became a salvation for me.
It then became obvious to me that this was an idea that could develop into something even more. An opportunity to offer good and nutritious food that can be stored and eaten hot during the week to other people. The idea of Grabbarna Gryt was born!
In 2020, Grabbarna Gryt was started as a project with the sale of lunch boxes. With lessons learned and good feedback from customers, we decided to open a restaurant! The result is the Grabbarna Gryt in Ursvik, Stockholm.
